10 reasons why you should try Bodyweight Training

Even before it became a fitness trend worldwide, Bodyweight training has always been an integral part of my training program and the people with whom I work. Although I like being in the gym lifting weights, I like to use my own body also challenge myself in new and intense forms.

For a story short background you have, I started my health and fitness journey in college at the age of 19 years when I realized I wanted to go in the opposite direction of most college students: binge drinking, parties, nights of late, fast food, etc. This left me with a much smaller group of friends and more time for myself and for making - which I loved! I started running and then started pulling in some bodyweight exercises such as pushups, lunges, burpees, step-ups, triceps dips and more. I like to call these my interactive operations . From there I was hooked. I loved being able to do weight training the body at any time and anywhere.

Here are my top 10 reasons why I love body formation

  1. I decide to make a spontaneous workout without having to leave home to go to the gym.
  2. exercises can make steady progress to make it harder for me as I get stronger. For instance: flexes knee bends one leg squats >>> decreased pushups> handstand pushups. Woo, I love you all!
  3. I can get an incredible workout anywhere between 10 and 30 minutes.
  4. gives me ZERO excuse for not exercising.
  5. When I move an exercise that makes me feel like Superwoman!
  6. I can do bodyweight training at home, in a hotel room, outside, in the house of a friend, in the office - anywhere
  7. is very good cross training to run and cycling.
  8. reminds me how powerful the human body, pushes me to my limits and helps me realize what I'm really capable of.
  9. There is so much variety. I love to chat about and comparing favorite body weight exercises other fitness professionals.
  10. that can (and will) do it forever !!!
