Our month at a time

The March was a fun month. We started the month with our last taste of winter and enjoyed a beautiful layer of snow.

Snow
That night Magnolia and I flew to San Antonio, Texas, to spend spring break with my family and dearest friends. It spent our first day outdoors before rain was prepared for the rest of the week and even saw some Bluebonnets!

Magnolia
drank my fair share of margaritas while in San Antonio, and was introduced in this amazing drink ! If you are a member of Costco, trust me, go buy these things !!

Margarita
week in San Antonio happened too fast, but I treasured every moment with my family and best friends. Luckily, I'll be back in San Antonio in May to celebrate my sister's graduation from Texas State University !! I can not wait to return!

Easter decorations
The warmer weather followed me back to DC and quickly jumped as a spring, once we were at home. I decorated for Easter, I put my winter clothes, and continued working in my office.

The time change of Texas, in addition to saving time daylight was absolutely horrible. We are not yet adjust to schedule changes, but we are approaching the hour of original bed of Magnolia. With the additional sunlight, we have started taking family walks every night when we got home from work. It's the perfect way to relax and catch up after a long day. I honestly forgotten what hoarded walk around at night with Neal and Magnolia.

My obsession with Lularoe continued this month! I bought this beautiful dress Amelia and plan to take it to one of my job duties April.

this month also splurged and bought a kitchen pantry. The plastic tray pantry pantry worked ... but this is just perfect! I bought a small furniture shop near Frederick, Maryland. I'm not a big fan of one of the owners, but I loved this piece too much to pass up.

This month also began working with a nutritionist behavior. I will meet with her once a month, and for now, I'm tracking food as in Rise Up application . The application is designed specifically for those with an eating disorder, but I really like the way the application allows me to keep track of what I'm eating and how I feel before, during and after eating.

Costco Chicken Salad Cups
My favorite food is two of this month includes the Good Foods Cranberry Almond Chicken Salad (found at Costco) and the new FlapJacked Mighty peanut butter muffin . I can cover mine with a little extra butter and peanut is divine !! In fact, I just bought more muffins Mighty have on my desk at work. I have found are the perfect appetizer 15:30!

This month I also had the opportunity to take some additional time off work. As our fiscal year ends on 30 April, I have needed to use up to 9 days of vacation before that date or go to them. My spring break trip helped, but still stayed with additional 5 days to use.

Cherry Blossoms DC
Last Thursday Neal and I took the morning and went to the Tidal Basin to see the cherry blossoms. It was a perfect morning and I'm very glad you had a few free to enjoy the weather and flowers hours.

The month of March is finished in a really awesome note and a roll of a note. Yesterday I created my new standing desk at work and is almost the most amazing of my life! I feel very fortunate to have a standing desk and looking forward to it daily. So far I have enjoyed standing while working in emails and projects only feel when I'm meeting with students. It has worked very well so far and I love !!

The bad news of the month is that I broke my meniscus. I've been in some pain from the football season ended last August, but was too proud to see a doctor immediately. All athletes will understand, but I worked to manage my injury in the last 8 months and I do not want to tell me to stop working out. It was not until last month, when he was working out OrangeTheory gym 3-4 times a week, my pain began to increase. since I've returned to my 2 workouts a week in OrangeTheory, which helped, but I knew I had to see a doctor. MRI results confirmed the break, but luckily we are going to put off surgery for now. I still go to training, as normal, but will have to make some modifications. It was not the news I was expecting, but not surprised by the news. I put my knees on many things like a disc and hammer thrower, powerlifter, and the football player, but now is the time for me to take better care of them.

OrangeTheory Fitness
These last days of March was spent working on some big projects. I have a really big event at work tomorrow night and then plan to spend the last day of March work on some projects of the house (I'm Thursday -! Yay). March was a good month and I'm looking forward to April. I'm kicking off April with a trip to Las Vegas with my mother and my brother and I can not wait!

Any recommendation from Las Vegas?
