A quick Internet search coconut oil hundreds of uses for this amazing product, which may be why you initially purchased the bottle and is now perplexed as to what is actually used to be filled. Well, look no more. These seven applications are some of my favorites ever tried and true. But it seems that every week to find a new way to use it, especially if we consider all home recipes can be made from coconut oil. For now, I'll take only uses straight up, no homemade concoctions necessary. Only coconut oil, and therefore no reason to continue to ignore the bottle on the shelf.
coffee cream
Improve your ritual cup of Joe by swapping your standard coffee cream coconut oil. Not only will begin the day with a caffeine boost, but also from fatty acids, which help increase energy levels! Coconut oil is a great source of medium-chain fatty acids, which, when consumed are transported directly to the liver and burned for energy.
ago, I had my first contact with coconut oil as a healthy way to add my day a friend of mine fat. He served up our coffee cups and then add a teaspoon of coconut oil to your cup. "My friend told me of I do this, and it's amazing!" He said. Only a few sips and soon learned that this healthy fat makes a great addition to coffee. Use it instead of the typical coffee cream (loaded with sugar, artificial ingredients, etc.). PLUS, it also leaves a lip moisturizer also light. Add about ½ tablespoon (or more, to taste), the hot coffee and stir to melt everywhere. You may need to shake again if you sit for a few minutes.
healthy cooking fat (or just because!)
Say buh bye to the nonstick sprays (in good time, it gets everywhere)! As an oil having a higher smoke point (about 350 degrees F), which can better withstand higher temperatures than others. Coconut oil also serves as a great way to grease baking sheets (ie, when roasting or food in the oven), and season your cast iron skillet. Many people choose olive oil for cooking, which do not misunderstand me, certainly it has its place in the kitchen and diet. But it is not ideal to use to cook the top of the oven or stove (at least at higher temperatures). Olive oil is best suited for use at room temperature; think of salad dressing drizzled on top of the food after cooking, etc.
