Returning to normal
In the last two weeks have been pretty hectic for our family and I am very happy today finally here! Two weeks ago, in the nursery it closed for a week. Neal and I decided to put Magnolia in a day care center for that week, especially to get used to being with others for care. I was not too keen on sending it to a center, but thought it would be good for the magnolia in the end.
The week was pretty emotional for Wednesday, Magnolia seemed to have caught a cold in the nursery. That Friday could not come fast enough, but when I picked her up from kindergarten, I knew that was not right. That weekend we learned that Magnolia had taken the hand, foot, mouth of the nursery, but luckily was at the end of the virus. By Monday, it was 100% herself and luckily cleared by doctors.
Unfortunately, our nursery was not comfortable with Magnolia return Monday, so he agreed to keep home until Wednesday. It was rare to have a healthy (extremely energetic) child at home, but wanted to respect the house Magnolia nursery will. Tuesday night, however, he nearly lost. We got a message from our nursery decided it was better for the magnolia to stay away all week, despite its being approved by our pediatrician Monday morning. When I was leaving Vegas Wednesday, I did not know what to do. Neal was amazing and came up with a plan for the rest of the week. Magnolia was a waste to have outside our nursery all week, and although I'm still really angry at all, today I am thankful for is finally here. Magnolia loves our nursery, loves children there, and really thrives there. We are all looking forward to a normal week and the Magnolia to be back into your regular routine.
Yesterday was a great day and I used it to prepare for next week. After waking up, Neal, Magnolia, Theo and I took a walk before breakfast. It was very cold, but it was nice to get some fresh air before it was launched the day. Once home, I Neal and breakfast Magnolia fairly quickly and then headed to OrangeTheory. Since discovering that I have a torn meniscus, I've been taking it easy in OrangeTheory, so it felt great to train at 100% today. It was a killer workout (Thanks, Amanda ) and I loved having my dear friend Jenn there with me.
Once home, I showered and made myself breakfast. As Magnolia was napping, I wrote my recapitulation Vegas, clean a little house, and created a plan for next week. I created a list of meal ideas and then settled in some dishes. I will continue to pick and choose from the list of breakfast but settled at lunch, snacks and dinner.
lunch - Brown rice, cherry tomatoes, zucchini and chicken sausages
Snacks - whipped cottage cheese with carrots and muffins Mighty
Cena - Emily Bites Carne Enchilada quinoa Bake and Bubble up pizza casserole (served with salad)
After Magnolia awoke from his nap went for a long walk around the lake and then headed to the grocery store. I love shopping with Magnolia now all pointing in the store. I am amazed at how quickly you are learning and how much you keep. Is incredible.
Once home, I made the enchilada meat Quinoa Bake (swapping beans for peas) and put together my meals week. We dined as a family (we all loved the Bake quinoa) and then gave me a bath Magnolia, read a book, and went to sleep.
After the magnolia went to sleep, Neal and I watched Modern Family and Brooklyn Nine-Nine, while blogged, and then he went to bed at 10 pm. It was a really great day (I got 17,000 steps!) And I'm looking forward to next week. It's time to get back to work, to get back to Magnolia your regular routine, and to close the academic year!
