Hill Country Market + Magnolia
Our time here in Texas this week began with a trip to the Market + Magnolia Hill Country. There is nothing I like more than the hills of Texas, all beautiful spring flowers and a beautiful sunset of Texas, so I wanted to travel around Texas for a few days.
Wednesday we went to the hill country and finally headed to the Hyatt Hill Country Resort and Spa. I stayed at the Hill Country Resort when I was younger and thought it would be a holiday resort fun as you begin our week in Texas.
The resort is absolutely beautiful and I love gardening and swimming pools.
The complex has two incredible pools and a lazy river fun. Unfortunately, Magnolia is going through a phase of "I do not like water", so they took turns to play with her out of the pool and river.
Wednesday night left the resort and grabbed dinner at Rudy. We love their barbecue and had to get some breast while we were in town. It was delicious!
Thursday morning got up slowly, checking out the hotel and then headed back home to my parents before driving to Waco for the day.
The drive was fairly easy to Waco, rain aside. Magnolia market is located off Interstate 35, so the unit was a straight shot. Next to the market are some car parks, which charge $ 10. No doubt they are making bank off the market as the market itself has no parking. There is a free lot across the train tracks, but the parking fee is certainly convenient.
When walking to the market, the new bakery (not yet open) is on the right side, next to the silos . On your left is the store Magnolia market.
between the market and the Silos is a grassy area of grass, with a lot of sports equipment, chairs, swings and these adorable. There are food trucks along the outside of the market, which is fun for those who want to eat while you are there. They also have a new barn in the works, but it was still under construction when we were there.
The market itself was very nice. He had the largest number of items for sale as I thought it would, but the design and the designs were beautiful. Excellent store generating ideas! I bought a shirt, sailing, and a small tote to bring back to DC!
The return trip to San Antonio was a little dangerous, simply because of our schedule and traffic through Austin, but I'm glad we traveled to Waco to see the market. The rest of the week was spent here in San Antonio and yesterday we celebrated my sister's graduation from Texas State University. I'm so proud of her and I can not wait for her to move to the East Coast this summer!
Have you found fixer upper? It has been in Magnolia market?
