Power Up: Chia Smoothie Mango and post-workout protein
shakes are ideal when you do not have time for a proper meal, but still you want to put something in your stomach. This post-workout shake is perfect for replenishment of reserves (electrolytes) after strenuous workout body weight or a long term. Pepino, along with mango, raspberries and chia seeds might sound like a strange combination, but it tastes amazing. In addition, it is counted as one of their servings of vegetables for the day 😉
And to top Greek yogurt is a real powerhouse of protein with 15 g of protein per container!
Ingredients for 2 glasses:
- 1 mango
- 125g of raspberries
- ½ cucumber
- 1 ½ tablespoons. chia seeds
- 250 ml of coconut water
- 200 g of light yogurt Greek fat
- mint
Directions: Cut the mango and cucumber into small pieces. Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until creamy. Pour the batter into two glasses and garnish with raspberries, chia seeds and mint leaves. Then enjoy your delicious and healthy workout post-treatment.
A glass contains approximately 200 calories, 8 g carbohydrates, 15 g protein and 3 grams of fat.
