Hello everyone!
Get those white pants because of good weather, pool parties, vacations and barbeques are here! and I want to look and feel their best!
I think the best inspiration to achieve and maintain motivation is when you see amazing changes in your body, your energy level, sleep quality, and how well your clothes fit ! And when you feel good you know what is the reward and is a bit easier to stay on track of a healthy lifestyle and fit.
Here are my top 10 tips:
- Music is key to feeling motivated, so blast when I work out. Upload songs to your smartphone or enjoy a favorite CD, but only allowed to listen to new music when you exercise. It will give you something to look forward to.
- Give yourself a non-food reward after a week of healthy eating and exercise. Some suggestions:. Half an hour when the phone is turned off and read a good book or magazine to get a manicure, or buy yourself some flowers or a candle for your home or office
- Find a training partner. This really helps me to continue and I hope my work-outs. Every Sunday, I take out my calendar and call my friends to set exercise dates for the week. I love that I can stay fit and keep in touch with friends.
- Make healthy living a cinch. Put your workout clothes out the night before or keep your duffel bag stocked and in your car. These things make it easier to exercise, and right before your workout clothes is a great reminder.
- Hang a calendar somewhere that you can often see the refrigerator over your computer and put a sticker or special mark on the day of exercise and eating right. To see evidence of your hard work will inspire you to keep it.
- Select a time of day that is going to exercise and stick with it. In this way it becomes part of your schedule and makes you feel more committed. It's like an oath to yourself that you will not want to break. Without some planning, the day can easily get ahead of you.
- Choose a close friend and e-mail your workout log him or her each week. When you know that someone is "watching", which is more likely to stick with it.
