If you often chew energy bars, you should check to make sure pantry popular snacks are discarded.

The FDA recently announced a voluntary recall of Bars Clif Bar Energy Nuts and Seeds due to possible contamination listeria . The recall, which affects three popular flavors, comes as a result of announcement SunOpta potentially harmful goods earlier this year. Symptoms of listeriosis usually begin with diarrhea or other stomach problems, and patients soon developed a fever and body aches. Those at highest risk may also develop a headache, stiff neck, mental confusion, loss of balance and convulsions, which may be signs of meningitis or encephalitis deadly.

Clif Bar is not the only brand snacks affected by listeria scare. Kashi has also recently issued a voluntary recall of its products trail mix and granola bar, along with General Mills, which issued a warning to select Nature Valley products. SunOpta sunflower seeds provides for the use of the three brands.

The list of flavors being recalled are:

  • Clif Bar Nuts and seeds energy bar with the "best of" date range from June 8 of, 2016, until January 21, 2017
  • energy bar Clif Bar Sierra trail mix with "best by" date range from 5 June, 2016, until March 24 of, 2017
  • Mountain mix Clif Mojo mixed nuts with the "best of" date range from 16 June 2016 until February 2, 2017

  • naked Bear soft baked granola, cinnamon + sunflower butter (Code / 8462310173 UPC)
  • Natural Protein valley Chewy Bar - honey, peanuts, almonds and pumpkin seeds (Code / 000-16000-47196 UPC)
  • Natural Protein valley Chewy Bar - peanut, almond and dark chocolate (Code / 000-16000-45724 UPC)
  • simple nature valley bar nut - almond, cashew nuts and sea salt (Code / 000-16000-41301 UPC)
