Feeling fluffy
Today is my first full day in office in a week and my first day routine in almost two weeks. After two trips of two weeks Penn State and Dallas , a day at home with Magnolia Monday, and a working meeting all day yesterday, I am looking forward to returning to get into my normal routine, the official start of summer, and to find my rhythm again with weight Watchers.
As I shared these past two weeks, away trips were less than perfect, but I had a really amazing time on both trips. I took steps to stay the course and follow the plan of the Weight Watcher on both trips, but also ate a lot and I struggled to track / count points for meals. From the two trips I've learned to move as much as possible, if it is capable of training, track as much as possible, and at the end, to enjoy the trip! I will not be hard on myself about the two trips and my weight gain. Would it have been nice to have lost large during the trip? YES! But I also know I would have had to sacrifice a lot, while away and is difficult to lose weight when you have less control. I am learning to find balance and look beyond speeders instead of allowing me completely derailed.
I weighed today, and after much deliberation, have decided to move my weigh in day to Friday. He had planned to stick to Wednesday, while sharing in a blog the other day, but I'm realizing I'm going to use my points better start again on Friday. I want to be able to use most of my weekly spots on the weekend and then stick to my daily SmartPoints during the work week. At least the last two weeks, I felt like a weight on the Wednesday after the weekend out of town, left me with only two days to get back on track after the end of more lenient week. She weighed today and I'll weigh again next Friday. Summer officially begins on Monday, yay, and it is time to stay the course and lose more weight.
After two trips, I feel very soft and fluffy. This morning I woke up and felt rough. Although I worked in Dallas twice, I've not been in OrangeTheory in a week. This morning was my first day back and I'm ready to feel better in my body again. I feel like eating out and my lack of high intensity workouts have made me feel really fluffy (heavy, bloated, whatever). My training today was hard, but it's good to be back!
Eating concerned, he did not return to the track on Monday when I returned to Washington DC. I located both day and feel good about what you've eaten. I started yesterday with 2 slices of toast, turkey sausage 3 and a bit of raspberry jam (7SP). For lunch, we went out for Panera retreat and I ordered the Fuji Apple and Chicken Salad (18SP) and a piece of bread (4SP), which was amazing! For an appetizer, I had 1 cup yogurt Triple Zero, 2 tablespoons cinnamon powder peanut butter and a banana (5sp).
For dinner yesterday, I had a pizza FlatOut. I filled a FlatOut Wrap with 1/4 cup of tomato sauce, 1 slice of reduced-fat provolone cheese and turkey pepperoni (8SP). I also had a delicious along my pizza (0SP) salad.
Yesterday was also able to go on two long walks. I went in one afternoon before picking magnolia nursery and then another with Magnolia and Neal after dinner. Both were great!
Initial weight : 254 lbs
Week 4 Weight : 249.6 pounds
Week 4 Results : -0.8 pounds
Total weight loss : 4.4 pounds
I was very happy to see a loss this week, after only two days back on track after my time in Dallas. Maybe my time in Dallas was not so bad! Either way, the trips are behind me and it's time to refocus. I'm working on some goals for the summer, as motivators and ways to redirect. I want to return to track everything I eat, especially on weekends, and enjoy my workouts again. 'Back on track !! This is the plan!
