How probiotics have helped me
Not very often I find a type of food that literally changed my life. The pizza is coming, but in terms of health and weight loss, I'm actually talking about kefir (!) - Something that'll tell you all about a little later
is all about. probiotics
Kefir is an excellent source of probiotics. Probiotics are live bacteria and yeasts that are good for your health, especially your digestive system
You have billions of bacteria that live in your digestive system. - Or, at least, you should have. However, eating too much sugar, taking antibiotics, stress, and eating animals that have been treated with antibiotics may mean your good bacteria levels can drop and bad bacteria levels can rise. This is a problem
The problems of low levels of intestinal bacteria
The lack of intestinal bacteria healthy can lead to a wide range of problems such as:
- digestive discomfort
- Diarrhea
- swollen abdomen
- acid reflux and heartburn
- weakened immune system
- systemic inflammation [19459013
- ] leaky gut syndrome
- and many other medical conditions
Why is the lack of healthy bacteria so serious? Basically, your digestive system is like a "second brain" and effects virtually every other body systems. If you can not digest food properly, the rest of your body will suffer. No matter if you are eating a "healthy" diet, if your digestive system is not functioning properly, your body does not get the nutrients it needs. That's why bacteria and healthy probiotics are something you should worry about
70 million Americans suffer from problems directly related to digestion - !. Many of which could be fixed quickly and easily with probiotics
The benefits of probiotics
probiotics replenish your healthy bacteria. Once ingested, they are installed in your digestive system and multiply. In doing so, they lead to unhealthy bad bacteria and make sure that your digestive system can function properly. Probiotics are very healthy and beneficial and can help with:
- boosting the immune system
- preventing and treating urinary tract infections
- improve digestive function
- treat inflammatory bowel diseases such as IBS 4
- manage and prevent eczema in children
- fight foodborne diseases
- reduce flu and colds
- reduce the overuse of antibiotics
- treat kidney stones
- treat colic
- prevent cavities and gum disease
- treat colitis and Crohn disease
- fights bacteria resistant to antibiotics
- treat liver disease
- fight cancer 5
- manage autism
- lower cholesterol
- fight bacteria that cause ulcers
- improve acne
- weight loss
While there probiotic supplements you can buy, there are a lot of foods that are naturally rich in probiotics. Being a bit of a nature girl, my preference is always to try to get my nutrients from food rather than a pill so I make sure my diet is rich in these foods.
How to get more probiotics
of all foods containing probiotics (and tell you which are the best in a minute) my favorite is something called the kefir.
kefir is one of my "top 10" Supperfoods I use. It is a fermented goat or cow milk drink that tastes a little like sour, sharp yogurt. Kefir originated from parts of Eastern Europe and southwest Asia. The name is derived from the Turkish word "keyif" which means "feel good" after eating. It is a staple of the diet of many county including the Middle East and the Mediterranean region. Kefir is loaded naturally with probiotics and much cheaper and easier to use than many probiotic supplements.
I like to add a touch of kefir to my smoothies and even pour over my breakfast fruit salad for a delicious but light start. a day
Other foods that are rich in probiotics include:
- sauerkraut - fermented vegetables
- Kimchi - fermented Korean vehicles
- NATO - soja fermented
- plain yogurt
- Miso - fermented soybeans, rice or barley
- raw cheese
However, it is important to understand that eating these only food supplies your body with probiotics; we must also try to keep their healthy bacteria, avoiding too much stress, sugar and taking antibiotics unnecessarily.
Furthermore, if you decide to eat yogurt for probiotics, be sure to eat natural, unsweetened yogurt and overcharged with sugar, fruit-flavored yogurt. This type of yogurt is only pretending junk food to be healthy and all that sugar means it does not contain probiotics and actually going to end up with the same bacteria that are trying to repopulate.
How probiotics helped me
After years of suffering from digestive problems and increasingly worried about my health, I finally tried kefir and I am very glad fact. After a few days I realized that my stomach was less swollen and had less digestive upset and in a few weeks, it was as if he had never had a problem at all. I lost some weight and realized I was sick less often -. All because of kefir
Kefir and other probiotics are very important if you want to keep your digestive system and therefore the rest of your body in top shape. I've tried the other probiotic foods, but in terms of ease of use and cost, kefir is really the best.

Conclusion
Buy yourself a bottle of kefir - will cost a few dollars at most like this I bought on Amazon.com - and start adding a touch to your shakes in the morning - "making a smoothie using kefir" or "Create your own replacement shakes homemade food" . Alternatively you pour a full glass a day and gobble. It is an acquired taste, but I promise, you'll love the benefits of kefir part of your healthy eating plan!
