It was not what I expected

After two weeks of travel, gain and loss, I felt like last week. I moved weighing day from Wednesday to Friday, so my week was actually nine-day, not seven. I knew I had some obstacles to overcome during the week, but nothing major. I wanted to see a big loss on the scale and to really get my weight loss after going back and forth through the holiday weeks.

The end of last week was pretty good! I kept my meals, got a great workout in the OrangeTheory on Friday and into the weekend feeling of greater control Weight Watchers after my two trips. The weekend was very relaxing, but struggled to keep up with the track of what I was eating in my application. On Saturday we went to get ice cream and Sunday we had pizza in Baltimore for Father's Day. It was far from being a bad weekend, but when you do not track, do not know how it came true!

The beginning of this last week of work was good. I went to OrangeTheory on Monday and Wednesday, I scoured my SmartPoints Monday and Tuesday, and made an election. I had prepared a lot of fruits and vegetables on a Sunday, so make meals was much easier.

Wednesday is where things started to derail. I went to OrangeTheory, did a good breakfast, I've located, and then went to work. I'm on two, two-day training this week at work, which means four days of sitting all day and eat the food provided to me. Both Wednesday and Thursday had lunch deposits given to us in training. Each box had a sandwich (roast beef or turkey on a croissant), a small bag of chips, a piece of fruit, a biscuit, and a bottle of water. I ate the whole picture of the two days and yesterday fell into the trap of candy. Hershey chocolate squares on the table is never a good idea of what is losing energy towards the end of a training day.

Breakfast
My dinners Wednesday and Thursday were rare. He had not traced my meals either day and had no idea where they were my SmartPoints. That's one thing about the new program, most foods are so extremely high in points I feel like, "Goodness, what's the point? There is no way what I just ate is even within my daily points range. " It's an excuse, but it's hard. The new program really pushes to eat low carb and low sugar, most meals are not. Both nights were remains of stuffed peppers (8SP) and hummus and pretzel thins (4SP).

knew that my weekend was not perfect, but I felt safe in the way they ate and moved on Wednesday to Friday and on Monday and Tuesday. I knew yesterday and Wednesday were not perfect, but I still felt as if he had not completely derailed. In nine days I had four meals untracked and were more likely very high in points (ice cream, pizza, and the two lunchboxes).

This morning I stepped on the scale and hated to see 250 again. I moved the scale around the bathroom (I'm not the only one who does this when they are discouraged right?) And indeed, I weighed 250.8. I gained 1.2 pounds last week and I will not lie, I'm knackered. I really want to get away from the early 250. I really want to see steady weight loss, even if it's just a little each week. I really want to get away from the gain, loss, gain, loss routine. Of course, I know a lot of variables enter the weight on a scale and trust me, I'm not going to beat myself over this, I just wish the outcome would have been different today.

Initial weight : 254 lbs
Week 5 weight : 250.8 lbs
Week 5 Results +1, 2 lbs
Total weight loss : 3.2 lbs

I am heading to Baltimore this morning for another two days, all day training. I'll have breakfast here at home before leaving and to avoid breakfast provided. Lunch and dinner will be served in the case of today and tomorrow after breakfast and lunch will be served. I have no idea what will be served, so I'll try to make healthy choices and not be hard on myself. Until Sunday, I'll be home until the end of July. I am excited and motivated to have a successful end of June and July.

This week may not have been perfect, but I'm proud of my workouts and on days I did track. I will stay positive and keep working towards a healthier life. No parrandas this week and I got a big dream. Win! Win!
