Spring is the perfect time to check your diet, and our Two Weeks Eating Sanitation Plan created by registered dietitians Stephanie Clarke and Willow Jarosh of C & J Nutrition is a great place to start. The homemade meals, snacks, candy and - yes, you can have a lil 'something, something every day to help keep you on track - focus on fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean proteins. We purchase printable lists for each week, as well as easy to follow daily summary of what to get preparation, to make and keep, and when. The plan is free of alcohol, but you can have your morning cup of caffeine. However, since the plan is free of dairy, you are drinking your daily cup of coffee or tea without half and the additional half.

All meals, snacks and sweets included and add around 1,600 calories per day. The carbohydrates, protein and fat ration is about 50:20:30. Carbohydrates are rich in fiber and minimally processed. Protein is poor, and fats are primarily of plant origin. And all the food is tasty.

How the plan

The 14-day plan is divided into two weeks, with a shopping list separately for each. The first day of every week is the day of preparation when washed, chop and store many ingredients cooked with all week. The day of preparation and during the week, several portions of some of the recipes will be prepared and additional portions of certain dishes, such as leftovers for lunch later in the week. Speaking of convenience. Hell! You may have even noticed that some dishes taste better the second day.

While you can start the program on any day of the week, you need to follow in sequence as this plan uses leftovers as throughout each week. To help PREP and plan, we have created a summary of daily meals and a list of tasks for each week. Think of this as your cheat sheet: print it and put it on your refrigerator so you can easily follow along

Prep Ahead for ease

days of preparation are important, and honestly. we believe that the commitment of advance planning will help keep the program. In one eight days, there are plenty of disguising do and a lot of cooking. Plan to set aside two to three hours for preparation and cooking time. It is also a great idea to think about one day in the middle of the week that might work for a small amount of preparation for the end of the week.

Tips for Success
