However, to reap the benefits of essential oils is necessary to learn techniques suitable mixture, such as:

When I began my journey to become a certified Aromatherapist, I was surprised at how little really new people on the art and science of aromatherapy. They talk about my new adventure with family and friends, raised questions such as:
What is a certified Aromatherapist?
What is aromatherapy?
What will you do with what you are learning?
These questions opened my eyes to the fact that while people were familiar with essential oils, not many knew what was actually aromatherapy. So let's make things clear about the art and science behind aromatherapy.
The burning question
What is aromatherapy? According to aromatherapy National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy ( NAHA ), "also referred to therapy essential oil is made, it can be defined as the art and science of using aromatic essences extracted from naturally from plants to balance, harmonize and promote the health of body, mind and spirit. It seeks to unify the physiological, psychological and spiritual processes to enhance innate healing process of an individual ".
Being around 5000 years aromatherapy dates back to the ancient Egyptians, who used the incense of aromatic woods in honor of their gods. Around the same time period ancient aromatherapy it was also evident in China and India, as shown on the main aspects of Ayurvedic medicine, which includes massage with aromatic oils.
Let's fast forward, right?
aromatherapy The first book in the English language was published by Robert Tisserand in 1977. Robert Tisserand is an international speaker, educator and frankly, a guru of essential oil. It continues with research and consultations on the science and benefits of essential oils, as well as their safe and effective application.
Wait, what? Rewinding, you say ?? 1977
Yes ago 1977, just 39 years!
Not wonder why there is a change in the information regarding the application of essential oils and such safety!
Conclusion
is important to know the origins of the ancient art of aromatherapy. Aromatherapy is a very big issue. There are many factors that come into play when making the perfect mix for you or your loved ones. Not only from a therapeutic point of view, but from a security point too.
