How to become a personal trainer
If you have ever wondered how to become a personal trainer, you are not alone.
searchApproximately 12,000 to 45,000 people a month on the website of the same information.
and up to 30 million web pages written on the subject of how to become a personal trainer.
I've been posting on this site for several years.
During that time, which went from an obese man, a form of the same version.
was not just a little overweight, had about 100 pounds overweight.
could not see my feet through my protruding belly.
could not tie my shoes too easily, much less do much more.
I had a waist of 50 inches and weighing around 275 pounds up.
had tested me almost all I heard diets, Atkins to the area and everything else.
I never imagined I would be interested in becoming a personal trainer.
However, in the course of 10 months, I have made great changes in what I was eating.
And those changes led to a dramatic body transformation.
I have never believed that the food was so powerful.
I never believed that food is your friend, not your enemy.
Real food is your friend and help you discover your true body.
Processed food is not your friend in most cases.
I started thinking about becoming a personal trainer after I found that weight loss was not as difficult as I thought.
I thought of all the years I've been inside, feeling fat, feel ashamed, she feels humiliated that I simply could not lose weight.
It's not your fault.
You're used to eating fake food.
These fake foods will keep you fat.
In many cases, the body does not even know what to do with these foods.
Therefore, your body protects you carrying these unknown materials in the fat cells.
I also experienced the amount of only a few strength training exercises helped me once I had lost enough weight to start working.
Deadweight, sit-ups, push-ups and only a handful of other exercises like walking were so powerful.
wanted to shout the news to the four winds that do not have to be fat forever.
I have written hundreds of messages here hoping to help people lose weight and get in shape, even after the age of 50.
I never thought I could get into better shape after 50
at 50, some people were already calling me 'fat bastard' and told me that I had already gone to the dark side.
meant that I was too old to hang out with, besides being too fat.
Life after divorce for men is a challenge.
lived alone, obese, lose friends, and I felt very isolated and depressed.
It was not until he was 55 years old and sitting in a deli night all have my second blueberry muffin in a different way occurred to me.
I was so fat, she was practically crying.
I did not feel good at all.
I told myself that the hundreds of diet books I had read, they all seemed to agree that fruits and vegetables were good.
They discussed proteins and grains, but all agreed on vegetables.
Therefore, that is, when Hashi Mashi was born so to speak.
I determined I was going to displace everything else with more vegetables.
And if the food came in a package, not have to something less than occurs in nature as an egg.
That's a pretty simple diet.
I want to help people who are obese or who are depressed.
know how much get in shape can help a person manage your depression.
After only six months, he was fitting jeans in a 32-inch waist.
That was shocking.
Not only for me but for others who saw the changes.
This is why I want to learn to become a personal trainer.
With proper personal trainer certification, you will be able to help others who are in the same situation as me.
After four months, I was stronger and more muscular than thought possible.
Especially at the age of 56.
was no longer isolated.
I was no longer invisible.
But I still want to reach out and help others who might have stayed where he was.
Having a blog is not enough I thought.
Therefore, I decided I need to get some kind of certification as a personal trainer.
And that's what I'm doing.
who decided to become a personal trainer.
Fat me would not believe it, but it makes me more fit, because then maybe I'll be able to help more people.
So please wish me luck!
I'll take the test personal trainer in just a few months.
What does being a personal trainer?
The initial definition of personal trainer as I understand it is defined by the scope of practice.
A personal trainer has a specific set of definitions.
A personal trainer is also bound by the specific ethics.
A personal trainer should also work within a network reference.
probably all have different reasons why they want to become personal trainers.
However, I think most of us have a desire to help others.
We want to help people achieve health safely whatever goals they have.
We also probably have an interest to work with a specific set of people.
People who believe that we can help the most.
For me, I think as a personal trainer, I can help people suffering from obesity.
I know many people who are not fat not think of being overweight as suffering.
I think that obese people suffer in many cases.
Of course, there are people who are fat and happy, and that is in that situation very well.
However, for someone who is not happy being fat, I know I can help them.
I also want to become a personal trainer to help people manage depression and anxiety.
I have personal experience with obesity and depression.
If I have helped myself on these fronts, I know that others can, too.
I also believe that I can be especially valuable to help men after divorce rebuild their lives.
What is a personal trainer?
I learned that a personal trainer is an educator, motivator and coach.
that fits perfectly with what I've been trying to accomplish on this site.
I want to educate.
I want to motivate.
I would be happy if he could train someone to cross the bridge from fat to fit.
If I could train someone to cross the bridge to life depression.
If I can help someone recover from the trauma of divorce.
If I can help someone heal from the nightmare of estrangement.
Personal Trainer scope of practice
Each personal trainer must adhere to a specific field of practice.
The scope of practice tells us what services are able to offer as a certified personal trainer.
This scope of practice is important to ensure the safety of people who work with personal trainers.
This also helps us understand the role of personal trainer within the health community.
We have to know when to refer a client to another health professional.
Some of the situations falling within the scope of practice as are the following:

Or say you have a customer who is having problems at home in his / her marriage.
not right to make recommendations on how to alleviate the situation.
What is appropriate is to listen with empathy and maintain client confidentiality.
In short, no personal trainers:
diagnose, prescribe diets or supplements, injury or illness Treat, rehabilitate or lawyer or work with patients.
Personal trainers do:
Follow national consensus standards for nutrition and exercise programs for apparently healthy clients.
work with customers.
design exercise programs.
provide general information about healthy eating guidelines based on national consensus.

Physiotherapist
Meal Plans Personal trainer
I was surprised to learn that a personal trainer can not give a plan specific power for a client.
a personal trainer is allowed to educate customers about food and nutrition.
However, a personal trainer can not recommend a specific eating plan.
However, if a pre-existing plan power is used, then it can make recommendations.
Just to base the meal plan recommended in one that is already dietician nutritionist / registered certified.
A meal plan program can be found on the website USDA to choose my plate.
I did not even know that such a remedy existed the government!
In any case, a personal trainer has to ensure that food and meal plans that have already been investigated recommended.
Supplements staff and coach
I was also surprised to hear that a personal trainer can not sell supplements.
That is beyond the scope of practice.
A personal trainer can not recommend, prescribe, sell or supply supplements.
Any supplement found on this site are the ones I use.
I keep supplements on the resource page so you can check with your doctor or registered dietitian.
Supplements shown are for educational purposes only.
