In Spite Of Staycation
I've had a wonderful week here at home and have enjoyed every last drop of my vacation home! And yet I have 3 more days until I'm back at work (yay!), But the last six days have been quite impressive. After what ended up being a weekend hard Magnolia quickly recovered from his stroke and we all get back into our groove. Neal had to work on Tuesday and Thursday, but was able to take off Wednesday and today.
Tuesday morning went to circle at 9 o'clock, ran errands, and then Neal met for lunch at a local sushi restaurant. We have had a number of meals planned for the week, so we made sure to plan and keep track of all that to the best of my ability. I want to be successful when I eat out and it was one of my goals this week. We ordered some rolls and had leftovers.
I took a nice nap Tuesday afternoon and got a lot done at home before collecting the magnolia. We went for a long walk with family and spent the rest of the night at home.
Wednesday morning, after I went to OrangeTheory, Neal and I dropped Magnolia in the nursery and then he went to the Chesapeake bay. We call our journey road to nowhere. We only went to the Chesapeake Bay and then decided to stop in North Beach, Maryland.
It was a cute little town with some nice boardwalk and beach. We walked around a bit and then got into the car and headed to Annapolis.
We made a couple of stops along the way ... I mean, why not stop taking a photo of Magnolia Ave .?
our plan was to go over the bay bridge and make our way to St. Michaels, but when we saw signs for Sandy Point State Park, we decided to change our plans. We were on the beach for an hour or so, soak up some rays and talked. It was very, very nice!
For lunch, we ate at home Mike Crab House, which is one of my favorite places in Annapolis. It is a beautiful setting and the food is really delicious. I'm not a fan of the "all you can eat crabs" / hammer and mallet experience (disgusts me), so I usually just ask one of their sandwiches. I ordered the crab cake sandwich and a side of hush puppies. I ended up eating four hush puppies, a pair of chips, and my crab cake (not finished eating the bread). It was really delicious!
Thursday morning after leaving Magnolia, I came home and worked in the house. I boarded cleaning the room and got a little done in my blog. Since it was Neal and my fourth wedding anniversary, for lunch, Neal and I grabbed lunch to go to Cava and then went to the house in Little Seneca Creek, the site of wedding reception . I loved our place and I love being able to go back there whenever we want (which is a Montgomery County Park).
enjoyed our lunch and eat our Cava bowls, and talking about our 4 years of marriage. It was wonderful.
I spent the day cleaning. I dusted, vacuumed the entire house, cleaned the stove and counters, scrubbed the kitchen floors, and folded laundry. It felt great to have a super clean house again! Now if I can only deal with the organization of the basement!
closed our Thursday dinner at BGR and grabbed Sweet Frog frozen yogurt. He had 3 bites Neal burger and about 10 fries. then I shared with Magnolia Froyo (frozen yogurt simply, no toppings). It was a sweet ending for our anniversary and loved being out with Magnolia.
This week I lost a pound, yay, and I'm very proud of myself. We ate out a lot, including twice a day before a weigh-in. I'm proud of myself to enjoy the week, for assembling our meals at my Weight Watchers Points, to monitor everything and my workouts! I feel good!
Friday - long walk (6,982 steps)
Saturday - Walk (11,858 steps)
Sunday - 60 minutes centrifugation (13,436 steps + spin)
Monday - OrangeTheory (11,416 steps)
Tuesday - 45 minutes centrifugation (8,161 steps spin +)
Wed - OrangeTheory (12,046 steps)
Thursday - Rest (cleaning) (7,721 steps)
I do not feel a big difference in my clothes yet, but I definitely feel better. I'm excited to move closer lost 10 pounds! A pound closer to 234 (my first goal)!

Week 7 weight : 246.6 lbs
Week 7 Results : -1.0 pounds
Total weight loss : -7.4 pounds
Today Neal and I are enjoying a day of work together before entering the weekend (we will see Finding Dory in a moment). Here's to imbibe the last part of my vacation at home!
