Snoozing can ruin your day
We would like to buy that extra sleep in the morning time by repeatedly doze our alarms. Although we may feel satisfied of having stolen a few minutes of peace, you can actually ruin your next few hours to make you feel sad and irritable. So, even if the temptation to hit the snooze button once, twice, three times ... .just quit.
Why is bad snoozing
and out of sleep in the morning is called "Drockling" which was a term coined by scientists dream in 1970. it may seem a little odd, but the body has to prepare before awakening and this involves a complicated series of mechanisms. One is an increase in the core temperature resulting in better mental alertness that begins almost 2 hours before the body is ready to wake up.
Now, if we had enough sleep (6-8 hours), then the entire waking time, this mechanism is put into action. However, if he has fallen asleep at 12 am and set an alarm for 5am, maybe your body is not yet ready to awaken and body temperature at 5 am will still be much lower than room temperature causing the air around it feels very cold and the bed looks warm and welcoming. At this point, you are tempted to hit the snooze button
But once you hit snooze on your body will try to drift back to sleep thinking of his time yet to prepare for the vigil . However, the following alarm causes the body and brain to be surprised and disturbed. This also translates into a feeling dizzy and irritable in the head, called "sleep inertia." Sleep inertia is defined as the feeling of drowsiness and disorientation that can come with the awakening from a deep sleep.
Sleep inertia often lasts up to an hour and a half after awakening abrupt and can ruin the whole day. the normal activity of the brain such as decision-making, memory and overall productivity slows.
the best way to do this:
We know that sleep is the first thing sacrificed in order to squeeze time for other important commitments, including the capture of a film or attend an evening party. There is no denying the fact enough sleep is as important as eating, bathing and exercising regularly. it's a way to give the body the rest required to recover from what happened on that day and to rejuvenate for what comes tomorrow.
However, if we are not able to get the required amount of sleep for genuine reasons then at least not hit the snooze button. Being in and out of sleep is worse than no sleep at all.
Just politely tell yourself before going to sleep I have to wake up at this time - this will serve as an instruction for the mind and the body. When the alarm is activated, not make it a point to 'wake up', sit back and soak up the atmosphere for a while, let agree with reality and then get going. Try to wake up at exactly the same time every day in order to train your body and establish their own natural cycle.
The sleep cycle is a very important component of health, but often underestimated. There are people on both sides of the spectrum, some actually are deprived of sleep due to the limitations of work and some other people who are sleeping too much, because they have nothing else to do. Either way, not good. The dream has a science behind it and we have to respect that, respect the body's natural clock. Sometimes, on the weekends we tend to fall asleep assuming that we were too tired through the week. More sleep and laze makes one feel lazier. On the contrary, use that extra time on the weekend to be outdoors -playing a sport, take a walk in the park, buying fresh food, cleaning your car or just walking your dog.
