David lost 125 pounds and changed his whole life
Membership Anytime Fitness has transformed every aspect of my life. I have been a member for more than eight months, lost body fat almost 20% lost more than 120 pounds, quit smoking, quit drinking, quit caffeine, and began to live. Every time I think about my past, and I can not believe I'm still alive.
Be Large
My family is everything "bigger" and it kind of grew up with him. Now that I've changed, I understand completely how I got fat. There is a mentality of my family that almost joking about being fat, or fat. It began as everyone giving each other a hard time letting go, but became almost family tradition joke about how unhealthy it became. When I'm with my family now, I can be boring sober, but I'm the healthiest one. I try to put an end to that kind of mentality.
joining a gym
I joined Anytime Fitness intended to give weight loss another chance, not knowing what would actually happen. I will never forget my first workout. It was with a personal trainer, Brent Neevel, I am still in contact with. I'll never forget, made me do step-ups on a bench, which was about a foot above the ground, and I could not. I could not complete a mile in less than 14 minutes. And one pushup was a joke.
Now I like handstands, squats and push-ups. I bought a weight vest, put on 45 pounds, and have been doing weighted squats and cardio on the stair master with her. I love doing calisthenics and functional exercises. I started playing hockey and I've been training for a league that plays throughout the Midwest. It's amazing the things I can do now.
Change To Diet
I started with a juice diet, and then began to add in clean protein. I learned to love eating fish and vegetables. I could not go through my day without vegetable juice. Once I reached my goal weight, I switched to a diet high in calories. I was focused on trying to be more efficient with what I put in my mouth. Even the time I ate mattered! I think adapt your lifestyle is 10,000% more important than adapting your diet. Some of my favorite appetizers are:
- 100% vegetable juice
- Grapes
- The bananas
- raw cashews
How to change
Stop thinking about it. The cost of money to do it, is nothing compared with the hospital bills you have to pay if they do not. If you are in a stage where they really need to make a change, you can not do unless you're willing to lose everything. Once that time comes, then it starts.
Everything has changed. I am more focused, more productive, more energy, and have more opportunities. Not to mention, I can run faster, jump higher and heavier lift what I thought I could!
