Protein Smoothie Tropical Treat!

Inspired by summer weather, beaches and exotic getaways, wanted to make a quick, rich in nutrients and energizing smoothie. little branch of a basil plant makes (because it is so beautiful and fragrant), so I thought I should try to incorporate the precious grass in my smoothie recipe.

Basil is an herb that people usually associate with savory dishes, such as pastas and pizzas, but, believe it or not, that can be used in candy as well! Basil is praised for its natural antibacterial properties that can help prevent infection. It has an enzyme called cyclo , which is an inflammatory disease of the ant. Eating foods against inflammatory help reduce the risk of disease and can minimize the symptoms of altered intestinal health.

Look for some organic basil next time you're in the market, and be creative with it!

Here's my recipe for a protein Treat Tropical Smoothie!

This is a pre-workout great (try adding 2 Medjool dates for that extra push 😉)

shake

1 / 2 cup frozen mango

frozen raspberries 1/2

1 / 2-1 cup fresh or frozen spinach

fresh basil (I added about 8 sheets)

handful of outbreaks (pea shoots or sprouts sunflower) - loaded enzyme

1 quid fresh ginger (or as much as you like)

lemon juice 1/2

1/2 tablespoon coconut oil -natural energizer to help boost your workouts!

coconut water 1 cup

1 tablespoon vanilla protein powder

1 glutamine tablespoon - improves intestinal health and speeds recovery between workouts

water (until it reaches the desired consistency)

Mix all ingredients together, serve and enjoy!
