Someone has to start a support group potty training !! LOL !!! No really, any mother out there admit that this is neither the easiest nor the most beautiful in the life of these our little bundles of joy moments.

started this trip 3 weeks before closing the school. I hoped that, honestly, since other babies her class also were being potty trained, she would solve the "capture" a little pressure to pee pee on the potty. It worked to a certain point, but she closed the school about 10 days ago and I will not lie, the temptation to simply put it back in his diaper and review this story once the school opened was real !! ... So anyway, one of the cardinal rules of potty training is to put the baby in the seat every 20 -25 minutes. I did this religiously, and gave everyone in the nanny home to jump on board too. He started well, but reached a point where it was not an interesting thing about her anymore, and she began to resist. I realized I had to go back to the drawing board, and after doing some personal research, I decided to try the following 3 small things, I'm happy to report, have made our experience potty training a great success !!!

1. The reward system: - is a no-brainer ...... humans like to be rewarded for a job well done. So I decided to pee on the potty deserves a reward! And in our case, a piece of chocolate was more than enough. Occasionally in the day, show me Nyakio chocolate ... even left smell it (Tumiso think it's just to say :-D) but my messaging was very firm - "Nyakio will only get a piece of chocolate if done pee on the potty. " This alone has worked wonders since the time I showed up. Is voluntary herself to sit on the potty - that is the cutest ever

2. Making a big fuss for success :. You might think that someone in our house has won an Olympic medal every time Nyakio successful on the potty, a real problem because we do it BIG !! Everyone, from dad, for Tumiso, Esther (my nana) and of course me - is involved in this joy, and the look of pride on his face, as seen in the bathroom to see his "good work " priceless . His eyes get so wide of joy when he hears all the applause that even begins to come alive .... As he heads towards the chocolate! Lol
3. Keep entertaining: whenever he is on the potty, doing his "business" I give a lot of material to keep her busy. I have found in particular that the videos or photos of other babies sitting on the toilet are very useful, because she begins to realize that it's not just her, this is one thing that all babies do.

I have been using these three main tools for the last couple of days and I will not lie ... .they have become a dreaded experience something wonderful !!
