Get Toasty!

Yesterday was an absolutely beautiful day here in the DC area! The sun was out, the humidity was low, and the wind blew. It was incredible! I started the day with a class 05 a.m. OrangeTheory. My legs were dead from training on Sunday, but wanted to make sure I got two workouts in OrangeTheory before traveling to Dallas on Thursday. I took it pretty easy in class, but I felt much better after exercise (15 FitPoints won yesterday).

Once home, showered, dressed, made breakfast (2 eggs - 4SP, egg whites - 0SP and turkey sausage -. 3SP) Achieved Magnolia ready for the day, and then went to the nursery

Fortunately, with him it's a beautiful day in Washington DC, he was able to spend most of the day outdoors at an annual golf outing. I had a great time with my coworkers, but totally goofed in my use (or lack thereof) of sunscreen. It was one of those days when it is so nice that not even realize how much sun you are getting. I have definitely too much sun and I'm burning limit, but I hope it will not be too bad as the days pass. I should have known better!

Since lunch is served in the golf tournament, I planned ahead and stuck to my plan! He had a scoop of potato salad - 2SP, a bed of lettuce - 0SP, tomatoes - 0SP 1 burger patty - 10SP, and a dash of mustard and ketchup - 1SP. I left the rolls, cheese and all the desserts!

Golf Outing
After the golf outing I caught Magnolia, came home to a house without electricity (fail), hung out outside for a while, and then he settled in with Magnolia once the power comes back on. I made dinner early, as it was pretty hungry, and played with a little Magnolia (yay for Little People). For dinner I had the homemade tuna salad (tuna - 2SP, light mayonnaise - 1SP, sweet seasoning - 1SP and condiments), pretzel thins - 3SP, and 1 cup of ice cream - 15SP. I used all of my SmartPoints 42 for the day and ended the day feeling great. Looking back, I was very proud of myself for some things ...

-How to OrangeTheory despite being very sore
turning down free donuts in the nursery
have no dessert in the game of golf (cookies and brownies appeared bomb!)
-Eat dinner early and then "close" the kitchen at night

Today I am in a work event half day and I'm working late. I had a hearty breakfast, I ordered a delicious sandwich jetties for lunch and dinner packed my lunch at work today. Tomorrow is my Week 3 weigh and I'm glad I was able to get back on track yesterday after my long weekend.
