Mornings are a delicate time for our family. You can go very well or they can be an unmitigated disaster. It's amazing what a couple of naps, waking up on the wrong side of the bed, skipping breakfast, and seeing its light gas tank can keep your day.
I'd love to say we have perfected our morning routine, but is simply not true. Some days we have everything together and work in perfect harmony to leave the house. Other days, they ask me if really a shower, struggle to get my daughter ready, you need and I'm so exhausted that I need my trip 1.5 hours to get myself put together before the start of the workday.
Through all this, however, I found some hacks life Working mom do wonders for not only my mornings, but also for my day. morning really set the bases, but so many little things can help all day to go smoother.
1. Use your weekends to get ahead. Addressing clothing, shopping, organize your calendar, get some sleep ... On the other hand, however, I had to learn not to take myself thin weekends. The goal is to recharge, spend quality time with my family, and to be better prepared for next week.
2. Plan your meals and preparation for the weekend. I loved the meal planning, but turned away from him after marriage. Now I have a daughter, meal planning and preparation just makes sense! I can save recipes through Pinterest, create a meal plan, and then make a shopping list from there.
3. Shower at night. who used to always showering in the morning, and I still do on the days you work out before work, but the shower at night really helps in the morning to run smoother. Being able to shower and dry your hair at night also gives me time to put a little makeup in the morning. Added value!
4. Prepare clothes for the next day. I personally sleep with workout clothes, but if I did, I set out for the next day. I also pick up my work clothes and make sure my daughter's clothes are established. This only limits the number of decisions you will make in the morning. Some of my friends pick up clothes for their children throughout the week on Sunday.
5. Be ready to go easy breakfast. I love making breakfast at home, but some mornings I just do not have the time. I have learned to have a safety net, but quickly realized that my breakfast, no matter what, they had to be full of protein. I need foods that give me energy, are filling, and are healthy.
Neal and I are big fans of Jimmy Dean. We buy your turkey sausages and Jimmy Dean sausage sandwiches turkey Delicias bulk. For us, Jimmy Dean pleasures are a delicious option, healthy breakfast (hello whole eggs and lean meat) and provide us with proteins we need when we are running out the door. Be sure to check Jimmy Dean morning videos Swaps and see as a busy working mother learn where the actual ingredients such as Jimmy Dean pleasures come from!
also keep some sandwiches in my freezer work, if completely forget to eat breakfast at home or during my trip to the office. A lifeguard healthy breakfast!
6. Having a small coffee at work (and use the timer). I have not had coffee since last summer, eek!, But if you do drink coffee, I can not recommend a small coffee for your office enough. Children not that used to set the coffee pot chrono and have a hot pot ready for me when I got to work. Finally I switched to a single serve coffee maker but I'll never forget my fresh pot of coffee days.
7. Use your lunch hour to exercise or running errands. I'm working very hard on this, but lunch are incredibly valuable. Whether you are exercising, get some fresh air, eating lunch with a friend or yourself, paying a few bills, or running to the post office, lunchtime is an ideal time to get some stuff.
8. Make the most of your trip. have breakfast in the car, call a loved one, enjoy a snack after work, listen to an audiobook. You can get a lot done while in the car.
9. Hiring out! I'm still working on the acceptance of it, but boy is it worth paying someone to help. Whether a cleaning service, lawn service, or even shopping service, I think one of the best hacks working mother is to outsource! Amazon Prime even consider me as outsourcing. Online shopping can save a lot of time (and money)!
10. Ask for help or just let go. we can not do everything and that's fine. It is hard to say no, but it's so important to remember that we can only do so much!
What are some of his cuts life?
