Ustrasana (Camel Pose) Steps

  • Kneel on the yoga mat and place your hands on your hips.
  • knees should be in line with the shoulders and the soles of the feet should be facing the ceiling.
  • As you inhale, draw on your tailbone toward the pubis, as if pulled from the navel.
  • At the same time, arch your back and slide your palms on your feet until your arms are straight.
  • Do not strain or bend the neck but keep it in a neutral position.
  • Remain in this position for a couple of breaths.
  • Exhale and slowly return to the starting position. Remove your hands and bring them back to their hips while straightening up.
