"The money that has been given to the foundation will support humanitarian work. And if people want to influence anybody in the office, I'd choose the political work. And indeed, the work of the foundation really speaks for itself, "Clinton said.

As to whether her husband, Bill Clinton, would cut its ties to the foundation, says that "we will cross that bridge, as long as we are there."

She said the role of the former president will focus on fighting regions such as Appalachia, using his "great experience" on economic issues to help the poorest areas of the nation.

"Some of these places I'll be paying attention, do not think they'll vote for me. I said that when I was in coal country. But I will support them," Clinton said.

In the interview, the Democratic candidate also said he plans to reach the main Democratic rival supporters defeated Bernie Sanders. Its unified opposition to Trump help close the gaps party, he said.

"Now we may have approached in a different way, but our goals are the same. And the contrast with Donald Trump, who created a fake university, Trump University, who committed fraud in people" Clinton said.
